Denton's answer to Austin's SXSW, the second annual NX35 music confrette happened this weekend, spanning 3 days of fun musical shenanigans. I was only able to attend one show, the biggest, on Saturday, where The Flaming Lips headlined. Opening for them were Midlake, and Stardeath and the White Dwarfs, both were amazing. The Lips' show had some issues, including the power going out at two points during the show, but was restored a few minutes later -- even though it felt like an eternity.
