I got my Canon EOS 5D Mark II in the mail yesterday finally. Here's a photo for the heck of it: Canon EOS 5D Mark II w/ the 50mm f/1.4 and 24-70mm f/2.8 USM lenses. Aside from the video I posted yesterday, this is the first photoshoot I've done with it. Eliscia and I went out to the square and shot around. They are just some casual ones, nothing amazing. =) Testing out the new gear. I might get the 28mm f/1.8 lens also, if I can get a good used price. I'm waiting on another battery I bought from eBay to be shipped, as well as a neutral density filter for the 24-70mm lens (77mm) It'll come in handy for tricking the camera's automatic video stuffs, til Canon fixes the firmware. *crosses fingers* haha. I went ahead and let the auction for the 5D Mark 2 battery grip expire... new it's $275 and the price was already at $220... and I'm thinking don't really need it right now. The pros of a vertical shutter release, and the ability to put tons of batteries in it would be nice, but it's a little pricey for right now.    The first one is my favorite. I liked a few others but just decided to upload three. =) She's using #2 as her Facebook default photo for now, haha. We will, of course, do many other shoots. Ok that's all for now, I think. Word.
