I had no idea what to expect before attending this concert. A friend and I were discussing it while driving to the show. In his extensive work of music, he has many slow, mellow and sad songs. He also has many inspirational and uplifting ones, and some that just plain rock. I figured he would create waves of slow, fast, leading the crowd on a musical journey, and he did just that. From classics like Bodyrock and Porcelain to Pale Horses and Wait for Me, to covering Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire, Moby utterly captivated his audience. His opening act, Kelli Scarr, whose latest EP he helped produce (and is free on her website), joined him during his show, and was an integral part of it. She also did the female vocals on his latest album Pale Horses. Here is the setlist, to the best of my current ability. I did not write it down, nor can I find one online, but I found a setlist from the Chicago show and it seemed to match pretty closely, and I just modified it where I thought it should be modified. Truly unexpected and awesome, I stopped taking photos and just rocked out. Moby is a great live act. The band he had with him did a fantastic job as well, with Inyang Bassey on lead vocals for many of the songs from Play and 18, and Claudia Chopek on violin. I hope to see him in concert again! Here are some photos & videos from the show! Enjoy! =D ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Moby performing "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash. Moby - In My Heart. Moby -Porcelain.
